Majora’s Mask Skull Kid – my first foray into 3D printing

I was really upset when I found out the limited edition bundles with Majora’s Mask 3DS and the Skull Kid statues were all sold out…I was obsessively looking at all the articles with a secret hope that maybe somewhere on some secluded corner of the internet I might find out where to buy one…I looked and looked until I realized I could make my own. Modeling a character to print is a little different than for animation but this was a challenging but good learning experience. I think this turned out pretty well for my first 3D printed sculpture.

The idea was to give people a chance to get a Skull Kid Figure if they missed out on the impossible-to-get ones that came in the game bundle. If you would like to purchase one, the link is here: bit.ly/1DMrMWC   I worked really hard on this, so I hope people will like it!

I made the entire model from scratch, here are some in-progress shots
